This is the first French edition of Guthrie’s Geographical Grammar with maps by Blondeau, Dien, et al. There are 29 maps though the numbering is 1 to 34 as some maps were counted twice. The atlas contains 1 sphere, 3 world, 17 Europe, 4 Asia, 3 Americas, 1 Africa.
Guthrie was a Scottish historian and geographer from Brechin, Angus, who studied at the University of Aberdeen, before he settled in London in 1730.
