Hendricx (1640-1677)(fl.) was a principal publisher in Antwerp, dealing with works by Rubens, van Dyck and others master artists of the day. He became registered as a dealer with the artists’ Guild of St. Luke during the Guild’s year 1643-1644. Hendricx did several hunting scenes, but this one with figures on horseback as well as on the ground seems to be uncommon.
