(Thematic – Sex subcultures) (Great Miami Area)

Craig, 1978

In the wake of the sexual revolution of the 1960’s and 70’s there were differing streams of cultural response. Some groups that were submerged in the culture found limited outlets, and others reacted to this change of norms by pressing for a return to former standards. Miami sat in an interesting cross roads of these forces
Here the span of places like “The Mutiny” where the Cocaine Cowboys of the 1980’s hung out, to the home of Anita Bryant, where religious morality found its biggest proponent. From a magazine series that looked at numerous areas through this same lense, we begin to see the culture and place with much more complexity and depth.
Condition is very good.
