A very attractive print of the Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco. Artist’s proof [E.A] and signed lower right margin, on thick paper, watermarked.

The artist Ralf Rafflewski is of Polish descent, and trained as a graphic designer in Germany from 1955 onwards before setting up his own business as a painter, decorator and poster designer. In 1960-61, he visited Paris for the first time before in 1963, he returned to make Paris his permanent home. In 1970, he started to get acquainted with the process of lithography. Initially, he focused on landscapes and city views of France before visiting the USA in 1975 for the first time. In the 1990s, he visited Spain, Rome, Japan and HongKong. He also produced illustrations for advertisments as well as numerous murals in public and private places.
